M-ALICE

Duality in nature is an existential truth; the

conscious against the impassive, absolute against

relative and one against many. And, us humans,

as a species have pinned this down to an art. We

have our ways of revealing only bits of ourselves

while we put on facades that fit the occasion.

The series aims at displaying this quality in

human behaviour using Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in

Wonderland’ as a medium. It is a portrayal of the

‘Mad Hatter’ as Alice’s alter ego; her second self.
